worth the splurge

EUCERIN Redness Relief Night Cream // TOLERAINE Dermo-Cleanser // NEUTROGENA Makeup Remover Cleansing Towlettes // VASELINE Cocoa Butter Body Oil

I received a great response to last week’s post on my beauty splurges so I thought I would circle back this week with the products that I save on. These are the products that came straight from my drugstore. The tried-and-true skin savers that I continue to go back to time and time again.

I mentioned to you all that it’s all about finding a balance. There are some products that are worth splurging on, and then there are others that get the job done – but don’t require breaking the bank. For instance, Aquaphor. I can’t live without this stuff. You’ll find a tube in every single one of my handbags. I use it every. single. day. And it’s versatile, too! I use it as a lip balm, a moisturizer when my skin gets very dry, and even a highlighter on the tops of my cheekbones when my face needs a little glow. A package of two costs $6.

I truly believe that your skin is worth your time. Try out different products. It takes some time to figure out which ones work for your skin – and most importantly, which ones you need splurge on and those that you can scoop up on your grocery run.
