gift guide for the bride

A special-edition gift guide courtesy of kate spade new york today! ‘Tis almost the season for weddings. (How many do you have on your calendar this spring?) That means it’s time to stock up on little presents for those brides-to-be. While receiving something off the registry is of course very much appreciated, sometimes it’s fun to surprise the bride with a little something else.

The first thing that comes to mind: stationery. The thank-you notes seem to never end when you’re a bride. I was so thankful for the stationery (love this set) I received because otherwise I definitely would have continued to run out. I also loved receiving items for our home – cocktail napkins, champagne coupes. I would have loved a set of these plates, too. They’re perfect because they can be mixed with so many different things, and they can be used at cocktail parties for appetizers. Another adorable – and necessary! – gift is a pair of pretty flats for the bride to wear to dance at her wedding (your feet can only last for so long). I adore these. They’re so cute and they ring in at under $100. Some of the my very favorite gifts, though, were the monogrammed ones. Not only is it extra personal, but seeing your new initials on something is just exciting. My dinner napkins were a gift and you all know how much I love those. No matter what type of bride (modern, rustic, eclectic…) we’re talking about, there’s a gift out there that is sure to thrill her.
