Rompers are a summer staple for me. They’re throw-on-and-go pieces that blend the ease of a dress with the comfort of shorts. They offer a one-and-done approach to getting dressed which is a lifesaver when you’re in a rush to get ready. The only tricky thing about rompers is that they have a tendency to come across as juvenile which is why finding the right one is key. I always look for ones that aren’t too short or too flimsy, and I usually steer clear of any crazy prints. This eyelet one from Tularosa fits the bill. It’s light and airy (read: heat wave-ready) and so comfortable. It’s everything I love about a little white dress, but just a touch more playful.
I did a little perusing and found lots of cute rompers options. I love this tailored one from Theory. So chic! For something that could easily work for both day and night, I love this one and this one. I’ve also been eyeing this one for my trip to Italy. I feel like it would be perfect for a special night out. If it’s a print you’re after, I would steer clear of anything too loud and opt for something a little softer like this one. Then there’s this lace number (would be such a cute and unique option for a bridal shower!) that reminds of Zimmermann but at a much more budget-friendly price. Just add some shades and a bag and you’re out the door!
