VERONICA BEARD Jacket // ENGLISH FACTORY Dress // SIMON MILLER Bag // CHARLOTTE OLYMPIA Flats
The quickest way to elevate any outfit is to throw on a great blazer. A well-tailored jacket puts a polished spin on even the most casual look. (Example: my ripped jeans and striped tee got an instant boost when I threw on this jacket for dinner last weekend.) While a black blazer (love this one and this one) is my usual go-to, it can start to look a little heavy as the weather warms up. That’s where the little white jacket comes in: it’s the perfect replacement during the spring and summer months.
I have a selection of several white jackets that I find myself reaching for this time of year. The latest addition to the group is this tweed style (also available in black) from Veronica Beard. I love the contrast trim, and the fringe adds such a fun detail. (Speaking of VB, I also have my eye on this white linen jacket. How perfect for warm weather!) I did a little perusing and found lots of great options that are worth a look, including this one, this one ($75!), and this one. Time to trade in your black jacket for one of those!
