GÜL HÜRGEL Dress (also available here ) // CULT GAIA Bag (sold out) // HERMÉS Sandals (similar style here and here)
Oh, spring break. How I miss those days. Everybody seems to be headed out of town this week. Unfortunately, I’m not one of them. However, if I was, I can tell you I’d be headed somewhere tropical (Hawaii is actually on my list) and this dress would definitely be in my suitcase. It’s just one of many beauties from designer Gül Hürgel. The Turkish designer is a new favorite of mine. I simply can’t get enough of her dreamy little dresses. I can sum them up in three words: easy, breezy, glam. The designer has an eye for classic silhouettes (this one looks like it’s straight out of the ’50s) and adds just the right details for a playful spin. I just love how the dresses are girly without being too sweet. (Bonus: They’re all made from a super airy cotton-linen fabric, making them the ultimate lightweight dress on a balmy summer night.) Don’t they kind of remind you of something that Brigitte Bardot might have worn (this one, in particular) while strolling along the French waterfront? #Goals

The title of this post should be “The Dress I’d Be Wearing If I WERE on Spring Break” because it’s the subjunctive mood (e.g., “If I Were a Rich Man”). Only telling you this because your grammar is usually impeccable — love the blog!
Thanks for the correction! Fixing it now. Great call-out.
