It’s no secret that this has been the summer of the slide. The simple-chic style has been everywhere – including my closet. While I’ve managed to add quite a few pairs (these and these) that I really love, my “Vera” slides from Loeffler Randall might just be my favorite of the lot. Not only are they cute as can be (who can resist a ruffle?), but, thanks to that block heel, they’re also insanely comfortable. Truly. They’re the rare pair of heels that I can actually wear all day long. Another reason to love these these chic and oh-so-comfy slides? They have a wear-with-everything quality that makes them one of the most versatile pairs of shoes I own. They’re elegant enough to wear with a dress, but easy enough to throw on with a pair of distressed jeans (obsessed with this pair right now) and a tee. Win, win, win.
Now that I’ve finished my ode to the Vera, I’m thinking I should invest in a second pair. (Friendly tip! These sandals run small. I went up a full size.) The good news is that they come in variety of colors and materials – from black suede to high-shine silver – but the bad news is that this makes my decision a little bit more difficult. (You can check out all of the different options here.) The bronze suede would be a good buy because it’s a pair that would work for fall, but I think I’m leaning towards the navy. Thoughts?
