In the winter, I can pretty much get away with wearing the same chunky sweater over and over again. The summer? That’s a different story. With the exception of lots of easy dresses (love this one), my summer uniform pretty much revolves around two different things: my white jeans (current favorites: these and these) and my denim shorts. This requires a wardrobe plentiful in easy and fun tops. I want tops that are simple in that they require minimal outfit effort, but with enough detail (off-the-shoulder, for example) that they’re not boring. The good news is that there’s plenty of great ones out there and like the bow-shoulder top ($70) I’m wearing here, a lot of them are under $100.
With that in mind, I’ve rounded up a few favorites that check all the above boxes. First up: this one-shoulder top from VC. It’s $99 and would be so perfect paired with white denim for Memorial Day. Also on the favorites list, this ruffle top from Scotch & Soda. In the same vein, I also like this one and this one. And how cute it is this little striped top ($65) with those bow-tie shoulders? (Speaking of stripes, I’ve been eyeing this top for awhile now. It’s a little over the $100 mark but thanks to new sale, it’s now 40% off.) I also found a ton of great options at Tuckernuck, including this one-shoulder top and this embroidered blouse. If you’re looking for something off-the-shoulder, see here, here , here, here, here, and here. Lastly, be sure to take a look over on The Outnet. As always, they have some great steals (hello) and deals.
