shopping   //   May 24, 2016

Does anyone actually shop for swimsuits in stores anymore? In my opinion, being able to try on swimsuits in the comfort of your own home is one of online shopping’s greatest gifts. Agreed?

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s talk specific suits. While I do love a bikini (seriously though. how cute is this one?), lately I’m purchasing less of those and instead, opting for more and more one-piece suits. The covered-up look is just more my thing and with so many adorable options (hello.), they’re hard to resist.

Whether you’re feeling sporty, searching for something with feminine flair, or want a timeless classic, this guide is here to help you find your perfect suit.

Every girl should have at least one (but probably two) classic black one-pieces for summer. This crisscross one is super flattering. If you’re looking for a budget-buy, check out this one for $45.

Thanks to lines like Solid & Striped, “sporty” no longer looks like a swim-team suit, but rather very Americana-chic. I just bought this one after seeing Gigi Hadid in it. The mesh adds some sex appeal to the otherwise sporty suit. I also love this high-neck style from Vitamin A.

You really can’t go wrong with a white suit. This one looks like it would be super flattering, and I love the colorful embroidery on this one.

It doesn’t get much better than this one. It’s simple and so elegant.

Opt for this one (love the white!) or this one. They both have just the right amount of feminine flair.

There are so many fun print options! For something tropical, take a peek at this one (on sale!) with a mini-palm print or this one-shoulder style. If you’re after something with a little more color, check out this floral-stripe combo or this bold geometric one.

Stripes add nautical appeal to a classic suit. I’m obsessed with this terry-cloth one. (Bonus: throw on a pair of these shorts and your bathing suit just became your top.) For a striped suit that’s a little more feminine, check out this sweetheart-style from Tory Burch.

Old Hollywood silhouettes are having a major moment. This strapless one is already headed my way.

UNDER $100

There are plenty of super chic styles that won’t break the bank.  My favorites: this one, this one, and this one.
