NATORI Feathers Underwire Bra

Finding the perfect bra is a magical moment. It’s life-changing, really. After years of wearing bras that never actually fit, I walked into Nordstrom ready to find one that did. Thanks to a super sweet saleswoman who measured me, I discovered I’ve actually been wearing the wrong size for years. (Why had I never let anyone measure me before?!) Once we had that settled, she brought a few to try and just like magic, I found the perfect one: the “Feathers” underwire bra from Natori. I walked out of the store with it (along with this pretty little set I’m planning to give my friend at her lingerie shower) and have been wearing it ever since.

Here’s what I love about this bra: not only does it actually fit (no “empty cups!”), but it’s comfortable, can be worn under a variety of different clothing, and, even after tons of wears, it manages to maintain its shape. It’s simple enough to be considered a basic but, thanks to the lace trim, also feels like a special piece. I’m also happy to report that it can handle the wash cycle. It comes in a range of colors and though I’m partial to the basics (nude, black, and white), I also love the pale pink (matches perfectly with these) and the light grey. It’s my all-day, every-day bra and I love it. Seriously. I rarely wear another bra. The only exception to this rule has been when I needed a strapless bra and I was forced to resort to the one I’ve had for since 11th grade (truth). However, that is no longer the case because – hallelujah! – last week Natori made my dreams come true and came out with a strapless version of my beloved bra. Done and done.
