THE BEST BOOTS UNDER $300

FRAME Jeans // LOEFFLER RANDALL Boots (similar style for less here)

While the temperatures have certainly cooled down here (hooray!), the weather in Texas doesn’t exactly scream fall – but I’m not letting that stop me from dressing in – and shopping for! – all of my fall favorites. This means lots of cozy sweaters in autumnal shades (love this one), a new cardigan, and plenty of denim. When it comes to fall footwear, I alternate between sneakers, ballet flats and, of course, boots.

Boots are really a non-negotiable part of a fall wardrobe. I have had both my Loeffler Randall pair and this pair from Isabel Marant for years and still love them. The thing with boots is that there are so many styles – or rather heights -from which to choose – booties, knee-high, over-the-knee (so obsessed with this pair), and more! I think they each have a place, it all just depends on the look you’re going for. Looking for something casual and low-key? Try a suede ankle boot like these or this $99 pair from Mango (if you’re willing to splurge, I love this Rag & Bone pair) to wear with skinny jeans and a t-shirt. If you’re after more of a statement, opt for something like these (such a good under-$150 buy!) or these. Either pair would be perfect worn with a skirt or something more casual like jeans and a blazer.

After receiving a number of requests on Instagram for my favorite boots, I decided to put together a shopping list dedicated to just that. I’ve included a variety of styles and colors (kind of loving this white pair) – from ski-town styles ($97!) and wear-everyday ankle boots to statement makers like these or these. The good news: they all of them ring in at under $300. (Quick tip: be sure to stalk The Outnet boot section on the reg. They have some great sale scores!)
