With all of the holiday hustle and bustle going on, there is perhaps nothing better than when we can finally slip off our heels and change into a comfy set of pajamas. What about comfy and chic, too? You’ll get both if you take a peek at Maison du Soir, an L.A.-based pajama line known for its fantastic fabrics and fit. The reason the quality of these pajamas is so good? That has everything to do with Courtney Kates, the designer of the line and today’s Style Notes subject. Courtney set out to create a line of sleepwear that is not only super soft and cozy, but that maintains a sense of style. She succeeded. You all know how much I love pajamas (I’m sort of an expert when it comes to finding a good pair) and these are fabulous. They slip right on and you never want to take them off. This solid silk pair has been on repeat for me lately (the red has been so perfect for holiday), and now I’m thinking about purchasing a pair of the printed ones, too.
Today’s Style Notes offers a quick peek into Courtney’s life, including her favorite place to order room service, her tried-and-true beauty secret (I’m totally going to give this pumpkin enzyme mask idea a try!), her favorite T.V. couple, and more. She also offers some wonderful advice to aspiring designers and business owners.
