why blazé milano makes the very best blazers

When it comes to wardrobe investments, a great blazer is at the top of the list. The tried-and-true closet staple is one that can take you from the office to cocktails and beyond. It’s one of those key items that can instantly put the finishing touch on an outfit. There’s no doubt that my blazers are easily some of  the most worn items in my closet. That kind of wearability and timeless appeal makes them well worth the investment in my book which is why I have no regrets about splurging on this one from Blazé Milano last season. The Italian brand is a new favorite of mine. Their blazers are the epitome of perfect: the length is just right and their tailored to a T. I’ve shrugged mine on over a dress for a party and reached for it countless times when I needed to dress up jeans and a t-shirt. The best blazers are the ones that can double up on duties like that.

For spring, I’m looking to update my selection and there are a number of styles that offer that kind of wearability. For starters, there’s this one from Theory. It comes in several colors, including a beautiful powder blue that would be surprisingly versatile. (VB also has this one in that same blue hue. It would be super chic with the matching pants.) For more colorful options, check out this double-breasted style from Tibi, Maje’s blush-pink blazer (the satin gives it a perfect touch of sheen!), this minty one, and for something red, this one or this one. this one. I’m also on the hunt for a white one. At the moment, I’m eyeing this one from Philip Lim. I love the structure at the shoulders. It’s a great option for a night out. Other favorites that are worth a look: this plaid one (under $100!), Anine Bing’s super-duper classic in black, this $30 steal from H&M, and this one from Rachel Comey.
