No matter what time of year it is, my “uniform” goes something like this: stripe shirt + denim. It’s a simple formula that’s been my go-to for years. What you’re looking at right here is a spring version of that uniform. I’ve traded in my cozy striped sweaters for lighter fare, my boots have been replaced with sandals (check out these for a $60 steal!), and the white jeans are officially back in rotation. This swingy top is one of my favorite new stripe additions. It’s easy to wear, super comfortable and works day or night. Bonus: those bell sleeves! (Still not tired of those!) It came from the stripe king himself: Mark D. Sikes. The newest collection is a stripe-lover’s paradise.
This top isn’t the only set of new stripes that’s made its way into my closet for spring. I’ve also added several of Kule’s chic tees (seriously obsessed with every single style), this Madewell off-the-shoulder top ($50!), and one of these reworked button-downs from Theory. There’s plenty more on the list, too. Looking to earn some new stripes? Be sure to check out this, this, and this.
