shopping   //   May 12, 2015

Nothing gets me through the rainy days of spring like shopping for summer’s warm, sunny days that lie ahead. Not to mention, I’ve got a beach vacay to Mexico on the calendar at the end of this month which means I’ve got swimsuits on the brain. While I love a cute bikini (just got this one in green), I’m also a huge fan of the one-piece suit. Lately, I find myself buying more and more of these. There’s just something super chic and classic about a maillot, and, with so many different styles out right now, there’s a huge variety from which to choose.

Looking for something uber-girly and feminine? Marysia Swim should be your first stop.  Between the scallops on this one and this one’s ruffle, you can’t go wrong. (I also really love this more budget-friendly option from Topshop.) On the other side of the coin, you could go for something sporty. It’s surprising to me how much I actually love the sportier styles out right now. They’re chic and don’t remind me of swim team suits one bit. For something in between the two, this one from Suboo is the perfect blend of sport and femme.

If you’re a print person, you’re in luck because there are some really fun options there. If you’re going bold and bright, Mara Hoffman is the go-to. For something a little more whimsical, check out this flamingo print. Prints aren’t for everyone though. Solids are a classic and this one from Tory Burch is a perfect example. There’s even some amazing options that offer SPF! Take a peek at Cover for those.
