There’s really nothing that screams summer quite like a big pair of statement earrings. I’ve shared many a favorite pair here over the years and now, there’s a new one to add to the mix: my rose earrings from Ranjana Khan. I have my sister to thank for these. Of course, she knows just what I like so it’s no surprise that they’ve quickly become one of my very favorite pairs. They’re over-the-top and oh-so fun – which, after looking through the rest of Khan’s collection, I can tell you is true for each and every pair from the designer. (How fab would this pair be for a beach bride?!) The designer excels at mixing different materials (vintage coins, feathers, raffia – to name just a few) to create earrings that are both eye-catching and artful. I think it’s the various textures that really make them stand out. (What’s really amazing is though they’re large in size, they’re surprisingly lightweight. You’d never believe that they weigh next to nothing.) They’re the kind of earrings that can magically turn even the most simple outfit (think: a white t-shirt and jeans) into a party-ready look.

(P.S. This Chiltern Firehouse cookbook that you see here is also really fabulous. For those of you that have visited the London restaurant, you know what a magical place it is. The cookbook is not only filled to the brim with delicious – albeit not super simple for a novice chef – recipes, but the photographs are beautiful! Grab one for your kitchen – or your coffee table!)
