Ciao! Bet you can guess where I am right now. At the end of last week, we hopped a plane for Italy. We spend the last few days stationed (poolside, no doubt) in Lake Como, and we’re now on our way to Florence – but not before a quick stop in Positano. After a few days there, we’ll head to Rome which will top off our vacation.
Packing for this trip was surprisingly less difficult than I thought it would be. I’m a horrible packer (clothes. flying. everywhere.) and I thought packing for European escapade would be quite a task, but I managed to make just fine. I focused on simple basics – white jeans, stripe tees, a lightweight sweater, my favorite tunic, and a couple of swimsuits (love this one). Shoes are always the most annoying to pack since they take up the most room in my suitcase. I tried to limit my selection to a couple of pairs of sandals (a casual pair and a dressy pair) and a good pair of sneakers for walking. For accessories, I packed a printed scarf, a crossbody bag, a tote, and some beachy beads. That should get me through the next week, don’t you think?
