If I’m craving color, I can always count on Lisa Perry to deliver. I bought my first Lisa Perry dress last spring and have been a fan of her dresses ever since. Drawing from the 1960s (one of my favorite decades for fashion) as inspiration, Perry’s designs are known for their vivid hues and swingy silhouettes. What I love about them is that the cuts are super simple but never boring. This dress is no exception. It’s a classic, simple shift, but the neon orange hue (I love the pink version, too!) adds the fun touch that keeps it interesting. (This crossword dress is another example. The cut is straightforward but that print is witty and playful. I love it.) One of my favorite things about this dress? Pockets! Why don’t more dresses have pockets? I love that I can go out sans purse and still have a spot to tuck my credit card and lip gloss. Lisa Perry just gets it.
