A little black dress is a year-round closet essential. Though it may look a little different depending on the season, the bottom line is the same: it’s a classic, go-to dress that looks good year after year.
My summer pick is this wrap dress from Three Graces. (To be fair, it’s technically not so “little” and really more of a “midi” dress.) I bought this dress earlier this year knowing that it would be a fast favorite. I was totally right. It’s become one of my most-worn dresses since May. (I love it so much that I bought it in white, too.) It’s the kind of wardrobe workhorse you can easily dress up or down. For day, I’ll throw it on with a pair of sandals or even my sneakers; and when I want to make a night of it, I’ll add a pair of block heels or wedges. What I really love most about it though is that it offers a tailored spin on an easy summer dress. It’s made of crisp cotton poplin (breathable and perfect for the summer heat!) which gives it a little structure. So many of my summer dresses are more bohemian and flowy, so it’s nice to have a good go-to that’s a little different.
Good news: it’s on sale today. There aren’t very many sizes left so hurry on over there. If you didn’t snag one, not to worry: I’ve put together a shopping list filled with summer LBDs (love this one and this $30 one, too!) that are equally as fab and also on sale!
