LOVE: Le Carre Hermes

Nadine Coleno‘s take on the equestrian scarf turned luxury icon.
Now available, this historical book features a selection of Hermès scarves chosen from 7 decades of creative design. Worn by royalty and celebrities, coveted and admired, and now avidly collected, this deceptively simple square of silk is much more than just a fashion accessory: it is a legend.
Since the first scarf made its debut in 1937, the House of Hermès has produced more than two thousand different designs, which is roughly 25-30 designs per year. Each scarf is crafted using a multi-step process that can require up to 800 hours of engraving and thousands of colors in a single scarf.
