Talk about some serious eye candy. Have you ever seen so many sparkly things in one invitation? Extra sparkle is is appropriate when it involves the queen of vintage jewelry, Carole Tanenbaum. (Why is she the queen? Just check out this and you’ll have your answer.) Known for her treasure chest of vintage jewels – Chanel, Robert Sorrell and more bakelite than you can count – Tanenbaum has an eye for tracking down the most unique (and over-the-top gorgeous) pieces. While I love to browse her collection online, it’s way more fun when I get to see it in person. And guess what? You can do just that at the Lela Rose boutique. It’s one of my very favorite things about shopping at the Highland Park Village store. Rose’s beautiful designs line the walls, and then right down the middle is a table full of Tanenbaum sparkles. (Talk about the perfect complement to any Lela Rose number.)
This week, there’s going to be even more. The boutique is hosting a trunk show with pieces from the Tanenbaum collection – including 35 vintage Chanel pieces (are you screaming yet?). Take a look below for a peek at some of the showstoppers that will be available. All hail the queen.
