LATELY

Have you all watched The Morning Show? If not, add it to your list. I’ve been watching it (in between feedings and lots of newborn snuggles) and love it so much. I would be remiss if I did not point out the fact that Reese Witherspoon’s character is named Bradley. This is the very first time I’ve ever heard of a female “Bradley” in pop culture. It’s kind of a major moment for females named Bradley everywhere.

I was totally influenced by my IG feed and ordered the much-hyped Revlon one-step dryer. I’m not going to lie: it’s pretty awesome. I’m not very skilled when it comes to styling my own hair and this makes it somewhat easier. It essentially does the work of a drier and round brush in one tool. (Tip: it does get really hot so it’s best to use it when your hair is already halfway dry so to avoid damaging your locks.) I’m still learning my way around it but it’s definitely worth a try if you’ve been on the fence.

When it comes to exercise, I’m someone who really enjoys a class setting. I find that I get a much better workout when I’m not left on my own (I end up walking for 12 minutes before calling it a day). However, with my schedule largely revolving around George’s these days, making it to a class doesn’t always happen. On those days where I just can’t get there, I’m getting my workout in via The Sculpt Society app. With a mix of cardio and sculpting, the classes are a quick way to get my heart rate up. I especially love her dance cardio classes. They’re fun and a really great workout.

I feel like every time I do a scroll through Instagram, someone is posting a photo from Verōnika, NYC’s hottest new restaurant. Designed by none other than Roman and Williams, this restaurant looks totally gorgeous. It has that same romantic moodiness that all of the other Roman and Williams spaces have. I know nothing about the menu or the food, but if it’s anything like Le Coucou (another favorite from Roman and Williams) then it’s sure to be sublime. This restaurant is on my hit list for my next trip to NYC.

If you haven’t already watched Cheer on Netflix, do it.

After wearing these leggings from Lululemon pretty much exclusively over the last year, I’m excited to report that I’ve found a new one to love: the All Access “Center Stage” legging. I bought one pair to try about a month ago and have since ordered three more (black and navy) along with the matching sports bras. These leggings hit all the right marks for me when it comes to workout wear. I love the high-waist style (no need for constant adjustments while on the treadmill, the waistband stays put!) and the material is super comfortable with just the right amount of stretch. If you’re looking to refresh your activewear, I highly recommend giving these a try.

After using this eye cream and loving it, hearing really good things about this cream from Elemis, I decided to give it a try. I was initially worried that it might irritate my perioral dermatitis but so far, that’s not the case. My skin is noticeably less dry. It’s a good option for winter. (Also: I’m trying out this peptide mask. I’m all about a product that does the work while I sleep!)

This really spoke to me. The anxiety of a first-time parent is a very real thing and something with which I’m definitely feeling right now. I’m glad to know I’m not alone.
