I’m just making my way through my resolutions here. (There’s something about putting them on the blog that holds me more accountable. I’m happy to report that I went to my first yoga class last week and loved it!) Next up on my list: Use my Clarisonic. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that the Clarisonic I received as a gift nearly one year ago (!) remains unopened in a box underneath my sink. I was so excited to get it and made all these plans to use it daily, yet there it sits, still in the package. Why? I’ve really no idea. I think it’s maybe a little intimidating to me? I’ve told you all before that my skincare regimen is pretty simple (cleanser, moisturizer, sunscreen, eye cream.), and while I love to try out new products, I’m very picky about it. Adding a whole new tool just seems a bit daunting. I initially felt this way about the electric toothbrush. It took me forever to jump on that bandwagon, but once I did, I’ve never looked back. I imagine this is exactly what will happen once I start using my Clarisonic, too. I mean, everything I’ve ever read about the device has been more than positive. People claim it changes lives – or at least the life of their skin. Not to mention, this list of gorgeous models, celebrities, and editors (Liv Tyler, Lily Aldridge, Jane Larkworthy…) swear by the thing. If it’s good enough for Liv, then it’s good enough for me.
You guys were so good about giving me advice on my yoga resolution, what about this one? Any tips and tricks you can give me about the Clarisonic? How many times a week should I use it? Does it matter what cleanser I use it with? Am I going to love it as much as I think I am?
