I recently got this bar cart from Furbish. I’m obsessed with the thing. Not only is it lucite – which you already know I love – but it’s also on wheels. A mobile bar! What I don’t have just yet are the accessories for it. I need some fun, colorful bits – glassware, swizzle sticks, you get the idea – to accompany it. This is where One Kings Lane comes in. They’re having a Happy Hour sale right now that includes everything from classic champagne coups to trays to gourmet sugar sets for rimming. It’s everything you need to make your bar looks its best! (Speaking of OKL… do not miss the Whitney Port office sale happening right now. It’s so fab.)

As someone who truly enjoys spending endless hours wandering the grocery store aisles, this article unveiling the Psychology of the Supermarket was quite interesting. Always take the exact same route around the supermarket? There’s a reason for that.

It’s about that time. This will be my first holiday in our house and I have no idea how to decorate for it. The fun, holiday goodies (hanging moss letters, for one) at Mark & Graham might be a good place to start. What do you think?

After reading yesterday’s article by Vanessa Friedman on how powerful women use fashion I’m even more inclined to make a trip across the pond to see the “Women, Fashion, Power” exhibit that opened yesterday at London’s Design Museum.

I’ve been in the market for a new trench coat but hadn’t found one I loved – until now. It’s a crisp, classic, and I love the wrap-look at the waist. And the fact that it’s on sale is a sign it’s meant to be.

I’m not even a cake person. (Ice cream and cookies are more my thing.) But this raspberry rose layer cake is just so pretty that I’m dying to bake it for someone.
