Whether it’s a gift for a White Elephant exchange, a special something for your Secret Santa, or just a stocking stuffer you’re after, the key to these is finding something that’s thrill-worthy but that won’t break the bank. Initially, these are the gifts I find most intimidating. I tend to overthink the whole thing: how will I find something with enough wow-factor that stays within the budgetary limits? The truth is, it’s not so difficult. It just requires some thought and a bit more hunting. Since I have a Secret Santa coming up next week, I spent some time digging around online and came up with a handful of goodies that are not only crowd-pleasers, but all fall below the $35 mark.

There’s something for every single person on your list. For the pal that loves to entertain, consider a set of linens (love these $28 cocktail napkins!) or one of the new mini-platters from artist Lindsay Emery. (If you’re willing to spend a little more, check out these cocktail picks. They’re gorgeous!) Girls on-the-go? I love the gold water bottle from S’Well. For beauty buys, a punchy lipstick (this one!) or any of Le Labo’s new shower gels and lotions are a fab idea. Foodie friends? You can’t go wrong with the new Cherry Bombe cookbook. It’s filled with one delicious recipe after the next and the photography is killer, too. I also love giving these sets of Jacobsen salts. They’re delightful. For the sweet-tooth on your list, opt for the Microchip Cookies (life-changers) from JK Chocolate. They’ve been my go-to for years. They’re to die for – truly! You should probably apply the one-for-me-one-for-you rule and grab some for yourself, too.
