Spring! I’m so glad it’s here. I’ve told you all time and again just how fickle my feelings are for winter: I like it for about two minutes and then I’m just kind of it over it. It’s dreary, grey, and long. Spring, on the other hand, is none of those things. It’s happy, full of color (both outside and in my closet), and, in my opinion, goes by much too quickly. There’s weddings to attend, birthdays to celebrate, and a couple of weekend getaways (Palm Springs, here I come!) in the works. And then there’s the flowers. All the flowers! This brings me to this beautiful article from The New Yorker detailing the insane amount of flowers used to make a single ounce of Chanel No. 5. They describe the entire process, down to the very last dreamy detail. Check it out for yourself. It’s sure to put a spring in your step.
