MSGM dress

I love destination weddings. Who doesn’t love getting to make a trip out of it? The entire weekend is a big party. The location also has a major effect on the attire for the occasion. If it’s a beach wedding, for example, I’m much more likely to opt for something a little more bohemian and breezy (this dress is kind of perfect for something like that). When I saw this dress at Nordstrom, it immediately made me think of Palm Springs. The colors just scream California to me. The print reminds me of a vintage Emilio Pucci one. It’s such a good mash up of different shapes and patterns, don’t you think? With a bold print like this one, you really don’t need much else for the look. A clutch, simple jewelry (love these earrings) and a great sandal, and you’re good to go.  I think this dress would be perfect for a more casual outdoor wedding. If the dress code was more along the lines of black tie, I’d opt to wear this one to the rehearsal dinner – which is exactly what I’m going to do to a wedding this summer. I’m not headed to Palm Springs, but I’ll feel like it every time I put this dress on.
