I’m all for punchy brights and bold prints, but lately, it’s the warm whites and other neutrals that are taking over my closet. After a summer full of color, neutrals just look really fresh – and that’s exactly what my fall wardrobe needs. The best thing about this color palette is that it allows for endless versatility. Everything goes with everything. This cozy knit, for example, will top off everything from a casual pair of blue jeans to these cropped pants for cocktails. (Side note: I’m planning on wearing that sweater almost as often as my new brown leather pants this fall.) I also love the way cream looks mixed with bright whites – think this sweater with these jeans. In other words: an excuse to keep your white denim going long after Labor Day. From camel coats (this one is such a classic) to creamy knits to must-have boots (this pair is under $150!) in that perfect shade of cognac leather, this season is all about the neutrals.
