clover canyon

It’s no secret that I love big, bold prints and bright colors in my closet. (Things like this and this are my jam.) Mastering the combination of both can be tricky, but Clover Canyon has it down pat. I had forgotten how much I loved their spring collection until Shopbop featured it on their homepage last week. Inspired by the architecture and design of Southern California, the collection includes details from Charles and Ray Eames, John Lautner, Roy Lichtenstein and more. It’s all just so. good.

The graphics are perfection. This one, for example. You can see the photographs of a midcentury home! How cool. Each graphic and print forces you to look a little closer, you know? There’s also this dress. The abstract print resembles a mix of stripes until you study it a bit. I love the silhouettes of each piece also play on the architectural influence – fit-and-flare dresses, crop tops paired with a fitted skirt, and super streamlined numbers like this. Like I said, it’s all good. Conversation-starters, for sure! Take a look through the collection and see for yourself.
