I’m not going to lie: it was the pretty packaging that sparked the initial interest. I was leaving my hair salon the other day when that bright, coral-pink bottle caught my eye. A bottle like that stands out in the sea of mostly black Oribe products. It got even better when I read the label: “Bright Blonde.” My hair stylist promptly told me it was their new “purple shampoo and conditioner.” If you aren’t familiar with “purple” shampoos/conditioners, read this post. It’s basically a blonde’s best kept secret. They make blonde hair extra bright (read: make blonde hair even blonder) and keep it from looking brassy. Needless to say, I’m a big fan of the violet-hued concoctions. In the past I’ve always used Davines’ purple shampoo and conditioner. However, I’m such a fan of the entire Oribe line (I use this, this, and this on the reg) that I knew this new product would prove to be fantastic too. I was right. It’s a triple threat of a shampoo/conditioner: it protects, brightens, and makes it squeaky clean. It does all this without making my hair feel the slightest bit dry. Another plus? It smells delicious. Not to mention, my shower looks a lot better with those pretty pink bottles in it.
