Happy 2017! Can you believe it’s all over? The holidays feel like a total blur. I just got home from Harbour Island last night. As always, it was the perfect place to rest and recharge. My return from Harbour Island is always a little bittersweet for me. One the one hand, I’m sad to leave my favorite island but at the same time, I’m anxious to get home. Those are the best kinds of vacations, aren’t they? The ones where you feel both sad to see it end, but grateful, too, because you can’t wait to get back to your life. (And by life – I do mean Lucy. I could hardly wait to get back to see my sweet little pup.) All I have to say is that it’s a good thing I came back feeling rested because I have a to-do list that’s about a mile long: thank-you notes to write (on my fun new notecards!), Christmas decorations to take down, a suitcase to unpack (which includes these cute new sandals I acquired while on Harbour Island!), and a handful of blog posts to write. I’ll leave it with that. Cheers to a new year!
