When it comes to investment items for your closet, a great handbag should definitely make the list. A well-made bag is something you’ll wear over and over again – not to mention, it’s a fast fix when your wardrobe is in need of a seasonal refresh. For spring, there’s no shortage of stylish options and thanks to new, need-to-know label like Staud, they’re all under $375.
If you’re not yet familiar with Staud, let me introduce you. The L.A.-based brand is a favorite of mine for handbag designs that are both special and budget-friendly. Bucket bags are their speciality and each and every style is cooler than the next. (Their bags have been so popular that I’ve had some trouble tracking them down. Good news: mytheresa.com has all the best ones – and in every color, too!) I have lots of favorites but the Moreau Bucket Bag definitely tops the list. It’s a perfectly-sized handbag that is both classic and unique. The fishermen’s net adds such a cool detail and the leather quality is top-notch. Bonus: this handbag rings in at $375. The color options for spring are so good (pink! white!) – so good, in fact, that I’m sort of thinking I want to invest in another one. But before I do that, I’m also considering adding one of their Bissest bags. This is perhaps the most classic style in their collection. This $350 bag is one you’ll carry forever and ever. It comes in a range of colors – including a bright white that would be perfect for summer. The black is a classic, but it’s the fierce red that’s topping off my wish list at the moment. The last style I’ll point you towards is the Grace bag. Available in luxurious fabrics like silk and velvet, this little bag works with anything but it’s especially perfect for evening. (I’m thinking of buying the hot pink to wear with this dress to a party this weekend. Thank you, free 2-day delivery.) The best part? This chic little something rings in at just $250.
The one thing that doesn’t come with a Staud bag? Buyer’s remorse. Happy shopping!
