While I’m all about trying new beauty products, there are certain ones that remain I always come back to and remain favorites. The Lait-Crème Concentré from Embryolisse is one them. The French moisturizer has been a mainstay in my beauty arsenal for years and years. I buy it in bulk and never travel without it.

So, what’s so great about it? For starters, it’s unfussy and straightforward. It hydrates my skin. Period. The no-frills face moisturizer gets the job done and does so without causing irritation (a huge feat for my rosacea-prone skin!) and without leaving any sort of heavy leftover residue. It’s also a total triple-threat: you can use it as a makeup base, moisturizer, or a face mask. (In fact, it’s my go-to product for overnight flights. I apply it in a thick layer as soon as I’m on the plane and when I land, my skin feels hydrated and dewy.) It does all of that for the bargain price of $13. Talk about bang for your buck.
