Dazed & Confused magazine never fails to impress me, and February’s issue is pure perfection. Shot by Josh Olins and styled by Katie Shillingford, the editorial features Magdalena Frackowiak in the stunning gowns designed by Viktor and Rolf. The Dutch designer duo, whose collections are more like wearable art than ready-to-wear, are best known for their avant-garde concepts and outrageous designs. For S/S 2010, the designers focused on one material: tulle. By densely packing and then layering the fabric into a solid mass, Viktor and Rolf showed us a totally different side of the fabric we normally associate with ballet tu-tus. Dazed & Confused’s editorial is a fantastic representation of this collection – just take a peek at the photos below and you’ll know exactly what I mean.
