THE DAY AFTER: WRITING THANK-YOU NOTES

Carine stationeryMerry Happy! I hope everyone’s holiday was wonderful. What do you all do on the day after Christmas? I’m normally on a plane by now headed to Harbour Island, but this year we’re leaving one day later. It’s so nice having this one day in between Christmas and our big trip. Christmas day is a busy one, and I’m normally rushed to get out the door the next morning. But not this year. I’ll have the whole day to get organized. I’ve got just a few things on my to-do list for today: pack, last-minute errands, and write thank-you letters. I have plenty of people to thank for all of the fun and special presents I received yesterday. Instead of waiting until I get back from my trip, I think it’s best to just do it now. Plus, I love to write notes. It’s actually something I look forward to. Snail mail is one of my favorite things – not to mention, I adore personalized stationery. I have plenty of cards like this that I can pull out in a pinch, but I think having personalized cards (even something as simple as this one) makes them extra special. I ordered mine through Ellis Hill, my favorite paper source in Dallas. (It was really fun ordering a new set with my new initials!) There’s also plenty of chic options (love these) that you can order online. Fine Stationery has some amazing options. They have a lot, so it requires some scrolling and browsing, but it’s definitely worth it. The same goes for Neimans. Scroll through for some of my favorites.
