Since I can’t bring you all to the beach with me, I thought I’d bring a little poolside glam to your computer via artist Nina Nolte. These strikingly colorful paintings are a part of the German-based artist’s series “The Best is Yet to Come.” The poolside scenes are reminiscent of a different era. The women are all oh-so-glamourous lounging by the pool in their brilliant jewels, oversized shades and brightly colored turbans (maybe I need to add a head scarf to my suitcase?).
