The clothes that inevitably end up being my very favorites are the ones that are basic enough to be part of a daily uniform, but with some sort of interesting detail that makes them special. This tee with the ruffle ($49!) and this pair of embroidered denim (note! have you all seen the custom embroidery you can do here? so fun!) would both qualify. One of the best examples from my own closet is this bell-sleeve top. This top is one I reach for multiple times in any given week. It’s simple enough that it goes with everything – from a pencil skirt to skinny jeans – but thanks to those big bell sleeves, it’s just a little bit more special than the average white blouse.
It’s that kind of wearability is the reason my closet continues to fill up with bell-sleeve shirts. I already have this one and this one, and I keep coming across more and more of them – including this sweater style from Tory Burch that I’m thinking about adding to my cart. I’ve also come across plenty of great options that are easier on the wallet, too. My favorites under $150 include: this one, this short-sleeve style from J.Crew, this striped one ($65!), and Pixie Market’s red-white-and-blue knit.
