SHOPPING LIST: 20 COCKTAIL DRESSES TO WEAR TO A SPRING WEDDING

Raise your hand if you feel like you have more weddings than you do weekends this spring? ‘Tis the season! I can’t deny that I do love weddings (the ceremony, the dance floor, the cake – all of it!), but having that many on the calendar can make getting dressed a bit more difficult. It also doesn’t help that the majority of the weddings are within one circle of friends so you’re with the same group of people which means you can’t exactly show up in the same dress over and over again.

I’ve been perusing the internet for some good cocktail dresses to wear to all these weddings and the good news is that I’ve found plenty of options for you all to scroll through in the lookbook above. While I’m usually the LBD’s biggest fan (just got this one), this is the one occasion where I usually steer clear of them. Spring weddings are a time for color, in my opinion. I especially love pastels for these occasions. Something like this would be perfect. If pastels aren’t you’re thing, pick something with some punch like this one (it also comes in a hot pink) or this one. Or go for a pattern! I also love all the little lace dresses I’ve been seeing lately. Lace has that romantic vibe to it that makes it seems especially appropriate for weddings. Something like this is simple and chic, but the kelly green color keeps it interesting. This Lela Rose one is definitely a splurge but it’s unique and I love the citrine color. (Speaking of Lela Rose, check out this one that’s currently marked 65% off!)

Not all the dresses have to be splurges, of course. There are plenty of options that won’t necessarily break the bank. A couple of goodies I found under $150: here, here (simple and chic), and here. It’s also worth the time to browse the selection on The Outnet and ASOS (this one is fab and it’s $85!).

The current DVF sale (25% off with the code FRIENDS25) is another place to take a gander. This green one is perfect for spring!

Be sure to check out “Weddings” section in The Shop. It’s updated daily with everything from guest attire and little white dresses for the bride to jewelry and wedding gifts.
