Remember my last post about Emerson Fry? Well, the designer is back with her latest collection and it’s better than ever. I’m talking every single thing is so good. Let’s just start from the top and work our way in, shall we?
The coats. So simple and so chic. A good coat is one that you can come back to year after year (not one that’s so trendy that you grow tired of it after just one season). A classic camel one like this or a even this hot pink one does the trick. Then there’s her knits. Cozy sweaters like this one are basically all I want to wear during fall/winter. The fact that it’s winter white is a bonus. The trousers are as good as ever, too. You can’t go wrong with a pair like this. One thing that really surprised me about this collection are the shoes. I don’t know if I’ve always been so focused on the clothes that I never noticed them before, but I’m definitely taking note now. It would be really hard not to notice these amazing boots. (The look so similar to these from IRO – but not quite as pricey!) Too bad they’re not available until October. All good things come to those who wait, right?
