If you’ve been reading this blog for awhile then you know that I am a huge admirer of Slim Arrons. His glamorous photographs of society’s swans from the ’50s – ’70s have always been some of my very favorites, and I’m always looking to add one to my walls. Good news for me (and you, too): One Kings Lane is hosting a Slim Arrons sale. From now until Sunday, you can scoop up your very own Slim Aarons photograph for 50% off. Having just moved in to our new house (more to come on that soon, I promise), this really couldn’t have come at a better time.
There are so many good options here, too. They’ve got everything from his snowy mountain-top photos to sunny days in Palm Springs to black-and-whites of Hollywood’s most famous (hello, Ms. Hepburn). I’m partial to his poolside photos. There’s the iconic “Poolside Glamour” one, but I really love this one of C.Z. Guest from 1955. This shot of the Beverly Hills Hotel in 1957 is pretty fab, too. Let’s be honest: they’re all fab.
