I’ve never been one for dainty, itsy-bitsy floral prints. Florals are girly enough on their own and that’s why I like to amp them up by choosing a bold, graphic print or, in this case, playing with scale. With its oversized flowers and scalloped hemline, this Cynthia Rowley shift is a perfect blend of feminine with just a touch of edge. Not only do I adore the shape (I can never resist a classic shift), but I also love the lace effect this dress has. It’s almost like a netted lace. I almost chose the white version of the dress but changed my mind at the last minute, realizing how ideal this dress is for summer weddings. The watermelon-red is now a summer favorite.
