THE BEST OFF-THE-SHOULDER TOPS TO BUY

REBECCA DE RAVENAL Earrings // CAROLINE CONSTAS Top // FRAME Jeans // ANCIENT GREEK Sandals

I’m really hoping that I don’t suddenly wake up one day this summer and decide I don’t like off-the-shoulder tops anymore because I’ve accumulated quite the collection as of late. Proof: I bought three (see here, here, and here) just over this last weekend. Seriously. And if my Caroline Constas top wasn’t sold out everywhere, I would probably buy it in two more colors.

While I’ve always been a fan of bare shoulders, it seems that they’ve become more popular than ever lately. They’re everywhere – and I, for one, couldn’t be happier about it. (My love for the off-the-shoulder look doesn’t stop at tops either. I’m equally obsessed with it in dresses – especially this one and this one – and swimsuits.) There’s just something so breezy and effortless about off-the-shoulder silhouettes. They’re sort of the epitome of warm-weather-chic, if you ask me. Which is why you need one…or three…or seven (Whatever. Who’s counting?).

Here, a list of my current favorites to get you set for the season:

1. For budget-friendly… This punchy-pink one is cute, and I love the simplicity of this light blue one – and both are under $75! This Free People one ($78) is also a great steal. (For a little extra moolah, you can grab this striped one!)

2. For a label that has it all… MLM Label is one of my go-to’s these tops. They have so many different options – not to mention, the cutest dresses, too.

3. For the basics… These tops can become part of your summer uniform which is why you’ve got to have your basics covered: black, white (it’s perfect with my high-rise denim), and, of course, striped.

4. For that little something extra… I wasn’t sure I would like the little pearls on this one but after seeing it in person, I realized the pearls add that special touch that makes this top work from day-to-night.

5. For the best beach buys… I’ve already stashed this one for next month’s trip to Cabo and I’m eyeing this one, too.

6. For the one you’ll want in every color… It doesn’t get cuter than this Alice + Olivia one. I love it just as much in orange and navy blue.

7. For the splurge… Head straight to Johanna Oritz. The Colombian-born designer knows a thing or two about bare shoulders. I’m totally in love with her best-selling Tulum top, and I wouldn’t mind adding this spicy red dress of hers to my closet either.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE... //
