A great pair of denim, a well-tailored jacket, simple tees, and crisp white blouses are the foundation of a great wardrobe. One of my favorite basics is a structured jacket. It’s a classic piece, and it can be easily mixed and matched with so many other wardrobe items. I splurged on this IRO tweed jacket a couple of weeks ago. I knew I would wear it a million times over – plus I adore the zipper details and its red/pink color. It was all I needed to add some polish to my simple gray tee and jeans.

I am a huge, huge basics fan and I absolutely love this look. Denim, a simple shirt and some fun jacket or blazer is my top go-to outfit.
