MADEWELL BASICS

Madewell, shirt, military

MADEWELL Shirt // DL1961 Jeans // Ray-Ban Sunglasses

If you took a quick scan of the shirts hanging in my closet, you’d find that a good chunk of them are from Madewell. While I adore so many of their pieces (how about these playful prints?), it’s their shirts that I find myself stocking up on season after season. They last forever (I’ve had my chambray shirt for nearly three years), and they all have that perfect boyfriend look. This military-inspired workshirt is my latest favorite.  Not only do I love the color, but it’s perfectly worn-in in the best ways. Plus, it works as a neutral. I find myself pairing it with printed skirts, bright cords, or simply with a pair of denim.

  1. EVERYthing looks adorable on you. You could wear a trash bag! But seriously, I agree with carly….wonder if I could get away with wearing aviators again. (I wore them the first time around.)What do you think the age limit should be on them girls??

  2. I was in Madewell last night. They usually get me with their pants, shoes and tees. I don’t think I’ve bought any of their top. That doesn’t stop me from coveting so much in their store.

  3. I love Madewell’s pieces as well. I have a cardigan the same color as your shirt and found that it works so well with so many things in my closet that I rushed out and bought another identical one to have just in case.
I love it as an unexpected neutral.

  4. Hi!
I just found you through Julia of Gal meets glam and I wanted to tell you how much I love your blog!
    It’s so beautiful! :)
And you know what, you just inspired me to think outside of the box when it comes to my blog. When I was younger, I used to cut out actual magazines and write these articles and then I would make my own magazine and hand it to kids in class. :) And I loved it, I loved writing about all that I love. With my blog, I post outfits only, because I figure that’s what people wanna see. But you know what, it’s my blog and I can make whatever I want of it! So thanks for pushing me into realizing that this morning. :)
