HOLIDAY ENTRY

When we returned home last night after a perfect Christmas day spent at my parents’ house, I started to feel a little sad that it was all over. There’s so much anticipation for one single day and then it just goes by too fast. It’s time to put away the red-and-green and store the decorations until next year. Besides storing our tree, I’ll also be taking down the little holiday touches that were placed around the house – including our entry table. The holiday candy needs to go (or get eaten – whichever comes first) and the Nest Holiday candle stored away. Of course, I’ll be most sad to see the Disco Gnome go. I liked seeing him first thing when I walked in the door. Until next year, Disco Gnome…
