I’ve been engaged for a little over two months now. I’ve set a date, booked a band, and decided on the perfect venue for the big day. However, it wasn’t until this week that it really hit me: I’m getting married. I sat down to start the design process for my save-the-dates and something about seeing our names in print made it suddenly very real. I really thought that the day of the engagement would be the most exciting one until the wedding day. But, really, every single day is more and more exciting than the day before. The next few days are going to be a whirlwind of wedding decisions, including one of the most important ones – the dress. I’m not going to spill the beans on any of those details yet (mainly because I really don’t know all of them yet), but I’ll be sure and report back on that some point. In the meantime, here are a few (mostly wedding-inpsired) links for your weekend perusal:
Since we’re on the subject of wedding dresses, have you seen Vanessa Traina’s? So stunning.
I enjoyed reading Victoria’s post on the question of women changing their names after they get married. It was such an interesting conversation there. I will be changing my name come May, but I really liked reading all of the thoughtful responses on the subject.
If you’re doing some online shopping this weekend, head over to Tory Burch to check out their SALE. (I wouldn’t mind this plaid coat to keep me warm as the temperatures drop.)
Don’t forget to enter the giveaway for a chance to win a $150 gift card to Shop Ten 25. I’ll be announcing a winner on Monday.
