One thing I know about holiday shopping: there’s a lot of it. The good news is that there are plenty of perfect presents that won’t cost you a pretty penny. Depending on whom it is I’m shopping for, I can almost always find something he or she will love that won’t break the bank.
For my girlfriends, I head straight for the fun, sparkly earrings. I usually go for it with something colorful or a statement pair or opt for something more simple like these ($45!). (I’m also totally in love with this bracelet. It’s kind of like the adult version of a friendship bracelet, no?)
Since my mom loves pajamas just as much as I do, a pair of those is almost always a safe bet. For something extra festive, you can’t go wrong with Marigot’s reindeer pair. If I’m thinking beyond the holidays, this Eberjey pair (the softest PJs ever) are perfect. I’m also a big fan of this under-$100 pair from J.Crew. Bonus: you can monogram it.
One of my favorite things to gift are those little luxuries – wonderful items someone might not necessarily purchase for themselves. First thing that comes to mind? La Mer. It’s no secret that La Mer is expensive but you can almost always score a deal on the smaller sizes. My personal favorite: the hand cream. It’s truly wonderful stuff. It’s the ultimate remedy for dry hands this time of year and makes for an excellent stocking stuffer.
For the party animal (or a boyfriend, hostess, dad…), I’m all about Bronson Van Wyck’s cocktail set. I can personally vouch that the margarita mix is amazing and I can only imagine that the others are just as delicious. If you’re headed someone for the holidays and need a gift for your host, let it be this.
For more budget-friendly gifts, be sure to check out the under-$100 section of the shop. It’s updated daily with new finds!
