I’m really loving all of the monochromatic looks I’ve been seeing lately. I’m used to seeing the classic white-on-white look (one of my favorites), but recently there’s been a lot of tonal ensembles in other colors. Getting this look right really comes down to one thing: pairing different shades of the same color together. Wearing the same shade of one color from head-to-toe just doesn’t work (I even think an all black look could use a hint of gray somewhere). If you’re not quite ready to do the full-blown monochromatic look then add in subtle accents colors with your accessories.I think Eva Longoria got the look just right! Tan is such a flattering color on her, and she mixed the different tones of brown together perfectly. What do you think?

love love love that silk blouse!
Just found your blog too, love it as well!
Your blog is fabulous! So well constructed and put together.
Gorgeous! It's all in the mix….and she mixes it to perfection.
