Right around this time every year, my shopping habits gets all confused. On the one hand, I’m longing for cool days so I can pile on the layers, and then all of the sudden Resort collections start arriving in stores and my thoughts are on sundresses, printed shorts, and the like. (Not to mention, holiday gift guides are on the way, so I’m really all over the place.) Camilla and Marc’s latest collection has me focused on the latter. Inspired by the interiors of Versailles, the collection is made up of cropped trousers, waterfall tanks (it doesn’t get any better than this one), and cocktail dresses that scream beach vacay. How can you resist this colorblock shift? And you all know I never can say no to a striped… anything, so of course I’ve got my eye on this and this. I’m also really loving the blue leather they used for several of the pieces. It’s such a perfect dusty blue. It almost looks like denim, no? With such distinct silhouettes and unique details, each piece comes together to make for a brilliant (and bright!) collection.

I adore the color combination but some of those silhouettes would just look terrible on a woman that isn’t stick thin. That trapeze top is so cute but I can see someone easily looking prego under that shirt.
Love the color palette! So pretty.
Love the pastel colors!
I couldn’t agree more. I’m obsessed with striped anything as well, and this collection (especially when taken all together) is so perfectly charming.
