Next week marks the official beginning of summer – though if you’re judging by these scorching Texas temperatures then it’s been summer for quite sometime! This also means I’m officially starting my summer reading. I love to read but somehow between work and the blog (and Gossip Girl on Monday nights) I haven’t been able to squeeze it in as much as I would like. But not anymore! I just finished Something Blue (if you liked Something Borrowed then you’ll love this sequel), and next on the list is The Help. I’ve made a working list and below is what I’ve come up with so far. Do you all have any books on your to-read list? I would love to get any suggestions!

The Help is great and I've been dying to read Little Bee – but same, no time. Hopefully this summer when I can find some time to lay by the pool. Happy weekend!
The Help is wonderful, you'll love it. This summer I'm planning on reading Hunger Games, heard it's great too. Happy reading! xo

I did not like Little Bee- the last half of the book started to annoy me. It was a quick read though and a lot of people have liked it, so I'd be interested to see what you think after you read it!
I am on the last 100 pages of The Help and so sad its going to be over! Definitely suggest it
The Help was a GREAT read. Did you know they are coming out with a movie for it too? Something Borrowed/Something Blue are good reads. Have you read any other Emily Giffin books?
Ill have to check out The Girl Who Played With Fire… I have heard of the dragon tattoo one. Are these sequels or no?
I read the girl who played with fire and I liked it as well as the other stieg larsson books. The help is on my actual “to read” list
xoxo
The Help is a must. I think it was written about my generation for your generation simply because you wouldn't believe this could and did happen. Remind me to tell you a “granny” story the opposite of The Help.
I've read all of these books! I'm almost done with DV, she's a wild lady, you'll enjoy the read!
I've read #2 & #3 – great picks!
Definitely have to read some of these. I love summer reading, it's always so relaxing.
The Help was awesome- a must read esp before the movie comes out!
The help was my favourite book last summer. The Little Bee is on my list and something borrowed and something blue are on my wish list.
The Help and The Paris Wife are on my summer reading lists too! Also Emily Giffin is one of my favorite authors..highly recommended!!
