Net-a-Porter has just launched one of their biggest sales of the year! It’s a must-shop. You’ll find everything from summer-ready mini dresses (I’m obsessed with this printed one by Tucker) to vacation must-haves. Don’t miss out on this one! If you’ve got some items saved on those wish lists, now is time to start shopping!

P.S. Shopbop is having a major sale right now too! Rag & Bone sandals, Tibi dresses, KJL jewelry… it’s all marked down! Check it out

The little white dress. It’s summer’s answer to the LBD. As the temperatures begin to heat up, it becomes my go-to wardrobe staple. (After all, the last thing I want to be wearing when it’s 103 degrees here is anything dark that might make it feel even warmer.) What I love about a LWD is how easy and effortless it is. Simply throw it on and add a necklace or two, and you instantly look put together. It’s a piece that can easily take you from day to night with a few accessory changes. For instance, this Tibi version would be adorable with simple leather sandals for the afternoon, but add a pair of wedges and some fun jewelry and you’ve got a whole new look for the evening hours. (I also adore this eyelet Pencey version. Crossing my fingers that my size will be available soon.) If you’re doing some summer shopping, look out for a great LWD. You really can’t go wrong with this one.

You all know how much I love a bold print – especially one that is equally as bold in color. That’s why I’m so excited to introduce you all to Luella & June’s newest sponsor, Tipsy Skipper. The Rhode Island-based company is designed by the talented Kearsley Lloyd – a girl who knows a thing or two about a great print. Inspired by summers spent at sea, Tipsy Skipper offers everything from clutches (my favorite is the orange croc version) to ballet flats to beach-ready totes. You’ll find everything you need to get you through this summer in style!

I’m so honored to share today’s Style Notes with you all. Lela Rose is not only one of my very favorite designers, but she’s one of my personal style icons as well. (And even better? She’s a Dallas-native, too!) The Texas-born designer is known for her classic, feminine silhouettes  – with a twist. Never one to shy away from color, Rose always adds a whimsical touch to her collection whether through color or a bold print. Not to mention, she just knows what looks good on women. The recently-opened Dallas boutique in Highland Park Village has given me a chance to see all of her fabulous pieces first hand, and I’m continuously awed at the beautiful creations that arrive. (I also met my new favorite pant there.) Here’s a brief glimpse into into some of the designer’s favorites.

What a week! I returned from Paris a few days ago and it seems like I’ve been playing major catch up ever since. Looking back at these snapshots has me longing to be back in The City of Lights. (Can’t I just move there for a year or two?) It was such an amazing trip. We spent the first few mornings visiting museums (the Marc Jacobs x Louis Vutton exhibit at Les Arts Décoratifs was one of my favorites!), and then, in the afternoons, my mom, sister, and I would sneak off from the boys and hit the shops. We wandered in and out of some of the most incredible vintage shops. I also picked up some goodies from Merci and Maje (including this Brigitte Bardot tee). And, well, the nights were spent eating, drinking, and eating some more. I’ll be sure to share more pictures in the next couple of weeks. I hope you all have a fabulous holiday weekend!

I’m so honored to be featured in Barneys’ latest newsletter. With summer right around the corner, the Barneys team asked me to style three of my favorite looks that would work for a summer soirée. There are so many amazing new online arrivals (not to mention, a brand new look for the site!), that it was difficult to choose just three. You can check out all of my picks online.

When it comes to my home, I’ve always gravitated towards bright whites accented by pops of color. Or somewhere in the middle with a light gray paint (my living room), but I’ve never gone any farther than that. Lately, however, I’ve fallen in love with these dark walls I’ve been seeing everywhere. When I moved into my new apartment a few months ago, I actually experimented with a black paint in the powder room. It’s a such a small space, so I figured I couldn’t go wrong (baby steps). I’ve loved it so much that I think I’m ready do this color in a much bigger way. I really like the idea of using it in a library/study like Aerin Lauder. The black paint adds instant warmth to this room making it feel comfortable and inviting. Can’t you see yourself curling up in here with a good book? I also adore Miles Redd’s kitchen. The black lacquered cabinetry makes the kitchen looks so glamourous. What do you think?
